Bitter Aloes:

The sap of the plant, which is obtained by making a sideways cut across the main rib of the aloe vera plant.

This bitter aloes contains Aloin, which is an essential element in a great many pharmaceutical products. From these bitter aloes the following products are obtained:

• Liquid Aloe: the aloe sap itself in a liquid form. It is extracted naturally without any form of processing. Its density must be of a minimum of 1086 of concentration of solid to be able to obtain a minimum of 33% of concentration of Aloin.
• Concentrated Aloe: consists in dehydrating of the liquid. This is attained through a concentrator which extracts 66% of the water from the bitter aloes liquid, while preserving the aloin, type “A” (Isobarbaloin) and (B) Barbaloin).
• Paste Aloe: consists of the total dehydration of the bitter aloes by which the water is extracted completely, and the aloin type A almost disappears, preserving the B type.
